There is an old Flemish song about two royal children who loved each other very much, but who couldn’t reach each other because there was a river in between, and the water was so deep
Well for these two royal children Jonny and Angela the water was not only very deep, and very wide but also there was an ocean between them, fortunately, nowadays we have the internet.

Ladies an gentleman, friends and family of Angela and Jonny
We are all gathered here today to celebrate the wonderful union of two wonderful people.

They are already married yesterday, but because a lot of you couldn’t be there, they would like to do it over especially for you, with a little personal touch.

Before you stands the proof that love can conquer everything
Let me tell you the story of Angela and Jonny, a story of many obstacles
Angela came to Belgium as a friend of Gerrit that day nothing special happened Then they met again in the Ile Afrik, a notorious pub
Angela already had an eye on Jonny , but she was playing hard to get, and she played so well that Jonny didn’t even see her

Next time they met in the Molly Bloom, another notorious pub, -actually there are a lot of pubs in this story-.

Jonny had a big interest in Angela, he discovered that he could ask her anything he wanted, and talk about any possible subject, so he asked "
how much do you weight? "

They said good bye at the metro and Jonny said the historical words: "have a nice life and I will never see you again"
Boy was he wrong (and it was not the last time he was wrong)

But how could a relationship grow between people who were so far apart?
How can two people fall in love without any physical contact?
They started emailing and from that moment Ladies and gentleman it was clear to me, because I found one of their emails in my car, -I read it off course because it is always interesting to read other peoples love letters- from that moment, it was clear to me that this was the beginning of a long and very profound love affair.

They started chatting, the next big step in their relationship was the installation of a webcam which brought their love life to the next level.

After 4 months they were madly in love, but only 1 year later they would see each other again in Colombia, Jonny flew there to meet Angela. There was a big hug at the airport, and later that night in another notorious pub, the Club Azul, beautiful Angela was laying in the arms of Handsome Jonny, Jonny layed down and asked the historical words: "May I kiss you? "

Angela laughed and said yes (with her head) and so they kissed, there were butterflies everywhere, lots of electric shocks through their bodies and thee was much rejoicing.

For those of you who have never seen such a kiss, just have a little more patience, Jonny and Angela will perform one on stage

There followed a lot of small holidays, a lot of flying from Colombia to Belgium, and from Belgium to Colombia, and they are standing here now, before their friends and family to say some very special words to each other and to exchange the symbols of their everlasting love.

Love and marriage is for good times and bad times, and Jonny and Angela had already some very good times, but unfortunately also some bad times, Angela lost her father last year, Jonny lost his mother, and only very recently his father. Jonny and Angela may you commemorate your lost parents by loving each other even more and enjoying the gifts that each other has for each other.

It is may be difficult to find two people who are so very different, and on the other hand who fit so well together.

And Angela always open, kind hearted and loving for the people that surround her.
